Latvian Traditional Steaming Techniques and Ritual Organization
During this intensive program, participants gain both theoretical and practical knowledge to refine their steaming techniques and deepen their understanding of the human body and its responses to sauna treatments.
Main topics:
- Various steaming techniques and their applications.
- Circular, linear, and Z–X steaming patterns.
- Steaming combinations and principles of lymphatic activation.
- Local thermal procedures and contrast techniques.
- Organization of toning and relaxing steaming rituals.
In addition, participants study theoretical aspects such as ergonomics, physiology, and other key principles that help bathmasters work safely, effectively, and in harmony with the human body’s natural needs.
The training includes a variety of learning methods. In several sessions, participants practice on experienced models who can clearly describe their sensations, helping trainees better understand the effects of different steaming techniques.
Daily schedule:
- Morning session – 4 hours
- Lunch break – 2 hours
- Evening session – 4 hours
Price: €100 per day
Accommodation: €20 per night
The training can be arranged as a one-day or multi-day program, with the option to explore additional topics such as:
- Lymphatic system activation
- Phytotherapy
- Latvian power symbols and their practical use
- And more.
The training sessions are conducted both individually and in groups of up to six participants.
Upon completion, students receive a certificate from “Jānis Pavlovičs Bathmaster School” along with a description of the topics covered.
